What is BFKS?

BFKS is Bowl for Kids' Sake, and it is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids and East Central Iowa’s largest fund-raising event. With the help of 2,426 bowlers, in 2011 we raised over $310,000 to support our work of providing mentors to children in our area.  By bowling with us or making a donation to a bowler (or both!), you help us carry out our mission – Provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Who:

Companies and individuals who want to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters while having fun.  Get a team of 6 people together and reserve your lane today!

When:

January 19 – February 16, 2012.  There are bowling times available on several days and times.  Choose one that works for you! Click here to view bowling dates and times.
