Full-Time Development Assistant
Job Summary: The primary function of this position is to provide support to the Fund Development and Marketing team as they work toward identifying and cultivating resources to fund programs providing one-on-one mentoring to area youth. The position involves working as a team member to assist in the creation and implementation of fundraising and donor cultivation events, direct-mail and email campaigns and marketing materials and events. Solicitation of in-kind and monetary donations will be expected as will preparation, writing and submission of grant proposals and final reports. Key task areas will be: data entry, analysis and utilization and website management and maintenance. Ability to remain flexible as priorities and tasks may change. This position has a customer service focus and will be the key clerical support for the team.
Qualifications: High school graduate. Some college preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and possess basic accounting skills. Personable with polished and friendly business etiquette used in oral and written communication. Transportation/insurance required for meetings and events. BBBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
