sponsoring a Match Event at Camp Hitaga
on Saturday, June 28 (Late
Afternoon) It sounds like a GREAT
activity for all ages, and will
be hosted by Camp Hitaga.
Activities include:
Swimming Pool Games, Canoe
Pool Races, Volleyball,
Archery, Challenge Course, &
Bonfire w/S’mores & Songs!!

BIG LITTLE TALKS AT COE COLLEGE
This is a
fun event for matches who have been matched less
than a year. Events are offered monthly (new
matches should choose one date to attend). There are
snacks, games, and an opportunity for you to get to
know your case manager and other new matches.
There is also a special time for Bigs to talk with
one another and exchange ideas, and Littles to meet
and get to know one another. This is a very
worthwhile event! All BLTs are held at Coe
College in the Gage Memorial Union from 6:00 - 7:30
pm (RSVP to your case manager one week in advance).

FITNESS
BUDDIES -
AVAILABLE TO ALL COMMUNITY BASED MATCHES
Ask your Case Manager about this opportunity to help your
Little get involved in sports and fitness or to join classes
together. You can share your love for organized sports with
your Little, find a workout partner in your buddy, or commit
to providing transportation for your Little to attend a
class. Karate, aerobics, swimming…you select the fitness
class your match is interested in!
Big Brothers Big Sisters will finance 1 fitness related
class each year for each Fitness Buddies Match. There
is limited space in this program and BBBS will contribute a
maximum of $100 per person toward the cost of a class.
Fitness Buddies is sponsored by General Mills.
A
health program endorsed by local healthcare providers!
This walking program prescribes a plan of setting goals and
logging steps to gradually increase activity for a healthier
lifestyle. Participants are encouraged to add variety
to their daily walks by exploring local trails.

Fitness Kits through Fitness Buddies, to all Bigs and
Littles who participate together.
